With titanium connecting rods, dry-sump lubrication, two overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank, and Bosch Motronic ME7 engine management, the mid-mounted 5.7-liter V10 is a liquid-cooled engine. When new, it generated 435 lb-ft of torque at 5,750 rpm and 605 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. New spark plugs and belts were installed as part of an engine-out service in 2017, and in September 2022 a new battery was installed. At that time, an oil change was also done. A limited-slip differential and a six-speed manual transaxle provide power to the rear wheels.
