Description

At G&K Automotive in Santa, this 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo was federalized in 1984. In 1999, Rothsport resident Jeff Gamroth completely improved and rebuilt. The 3.4-liter twin-plug flat-six engine produced approximately 450 horsepower with the help of a K28 Hybrid turbocharger, RUF 98mm pistons/cylinders, and other components. The original engine and transmission cases were kept. A limited-slip differential is fitted to the Rothsport close-ratio 4-speed gearbox, along with modified suspension and other parts. Complete records from new, federalization paperwork, an owner's handbook, an OEM first aid and tool kit, four keys, a Certificate of Authenticity, and a Euro safety reflector kit are now included with this 930.

Due to cosmetic concerns, this 930 has had its top, sunroof panel, front bumper, and rocker covers professionally repainted. The 17-inch Fuchs-style alloy wheels have front and rear widths of 9 and 11 inches, respectively. The wheel cap crests were painted by hand by Ralph Boothe. Bilstein shocks, height-adjustable spring plates, 22mm front and 28mm rear torsion bars, and a bump-steer kit are examples of suspension improvements. Despite having a sunroof, automatic heat, an automatic antenna, and a factory alarm, this 930 did not have air conditioning. According to reports, the only interior changes include a Blaupunkt radio, embroidered Lloyd floor mats, a 935 boost gauge in lieu of the factory clock, and a freshly new windshield and seal. Right now the six-digit odometer reads 56,785.
