Description

This right hand drive Mitsubishi Pajero Evo is a Japanese market SUV/Crosser with a metric instrument cluster and about 93,700 km (about 58,300 miles) on the clock. Factory equipment includes a locking center differential, skid plates, Evolution-specific body kit, tow bar, Recaro front sports seats and Recaro rear seats, dashboard information display and air conditioning. Changes are limited to a set of 17-inch KMC wheels, airfoils on the driver and passenger doors and a Panasonic head unit.
Mitsubishi launched the Pajero Evolution in 1997 to qualify the SUV for the Dakar Rally. In addition to the addition of a short wheelbase model, wheel arch extensions, a fully independent suspension system, a faster steering system and a body kit with a more powerful engine, modifications inspired by the spirit of rallying were also added. The Pajero took 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the 1998 Dakar. The power is about 276 horsepower, tt comes from a 3.5-liter V6 with 257 lb-ft of torque when new.
Internally called the "6G74", it drives the rear wheels or all four wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case.
